Why?? "30% of building roofs must be green" I understand green architecture, but what does it mean green on my roof.. It does not make sense. I + my nice pakistani landscape guy are having a hard time to keep the front garden nice and clean. Maintaining the roof (Water proofing/leakage/dead plants) will be too much of work.. Just have the best sustainable insulation materials on the roof, and you will decrease the effect of the mass heat that accumulate at noon when the sun reaches it's peek point. Please Please stop this non-sence, and work on a better building spec/codes and not the color of the plants/trees on my "Spanish" house.
